The Institute for Applied Argumentation Research (IFAAR) is a private research institute, based in Berne. Since 1994 the IFAAR analyses all kind of media content. The Institute for Applied Argumentation Research is a non-denominational, non-political and financially independent co-operative society. Since 2001 the research being conducted at the IFAAR concentrates more and more on the Internet, especially on eGovernment, public social aid and NGOs and the analysis of their websites.
